Kamo's personal highlights:
-Added respeccing
-Starship Captain Skills: Updated starship captain skills that only affected a single ship type. These skills now provide 25% of their stat improvement to higher tier ships of the same category (cruiser, escort, etc.) This update addresses the concern that Commander and Captain rank starship caption skills were wasted skill points once the player moved into their next tier of ship.
BAH!:
-If you are cloaked or stealthed, interacting with a clicky object will now cancel your stealth/cloak.

| I'm toying with the forums a bit...since we're more of a group of friends that game together than a guild nowadays. I'm shifting the forum focus more on dicussion about the various games...hopefully it will make it easier to meet up with others in those games.

 Station Launcher 1.1.0 Exits Beta, Includes Station Voice To Enable Guild Communication for All Players 
This announcement marks an important milestone for Station Launcher. After months of community feedback, prioritization, trials, some errors (of course), and a lot of hard work and diligence by teams across all of SOE to deliver a release update whose performance is so improved, that we can finally tell you… Station Launcher is officially out of beta! Since we last shared our vision of what Station Launcher could be at last year’s Fan Faire, we began listening to your feedback and it’s been a long road traveled to get to this point… - You asked for a better (and free) way to use voice chat to communicate with guild mates. We’ve at last delivered on the promise of Station Voice to enable you to communicate with others, whether they’re in a game or outside of it.
- You asked for better performance to get game updates – you were tired of endless patch updates and content downloads that took forever. We are now using a new content distribution network which now enables updates at download speeds up to 4 times faster than ever before, and up to 10 times faster than the old launch pad clients. You will get into your games faster.
- You wanted to be able to run Station Launcher without administrative privileges so that you can let your kids use your machine to play Station games.
- New players told us that our UI and menu systems were too confusing to get stuff done. We’ve simplified the menus so all players can find and modify preferences and settings more easily, quickly download new games and spend more time playing games.
The past nine months of release updates have allowed us to get closer to our objectives: to make Station Launcher a launch pad that makes it easy for our players to manage their Station games experience, to enable players to easily communicate with their friends, and everything just works when you use it.
Sometimes our updates didn’t work right the first time, but you were diligent in telling us about it. And we’d work to get it right. We think we’re getting closer to delivering that “right” experience, but we’re not about to stop. As always, please keep talking to us and leave your constructive feedback in the forums. It’s the only way we will continue to improve and evolve Station.
To get this version of Station Launcher, you will need to run the update installer located at http://launcher.station.sony.com/update/StationLauncher_setup.exe. It will update your existing shortcuts and preserve your current settings and preferences.

The Halls of Pantheon is finally here. The first part of the great architect Artera's story has finally been released and now is your chance to prove to the gods of Telon you are worthy of their blessings. Within the halls you will be asked to do many things as you increase your favor with the gods until finally correcting the imbalance of creation and unlocking the path that leads into the halls of shattered souls and the truth behind the gods of Telon and their years of silence. It is up to you adventurers, crafters, and diplomats to unlock the secrets within the halls and prove once again that the inhabitants of Telon are a force to be reckoned with.
Level increase (51-55) has finally arrived as well. Come and enjoy VG again as you never have before.

 A wave of nostalgia has hit the Flame. A team of original guild members dusted off their armor and headed to Plane of Fear last night. A zone which once struck fear...or at least indigestion in the bellies of Flamers fell to our singing short swords and ranger arrows. Thanks to Rumardian for 'getting the band back together' and for the gifts of gear. Thanks to team Portland (Aeawen, Jorree, Kron, Altir) & team midwest (Kiroc & Beam) for the witty banter and jolly good time.

The winter solstice has come and passed. The inhabitants of Telon are welcoming the return of the sun and longer days. In the wake of Gloriann’s Festival, strange things are happening in New Targonor. First came the horrific nightmares. Then children began going missing. Despite the best efforts of the Thestran Watch and the Sages Arcane to find any evidence, little to no light has been shed on either occurrence. Though warmer days are ahead for Telon, how dark will they be?
Those curious about the recent events should seek out Edric Nichols amongst New Targonor’s courtyards and perhaps have a look for themselves.

Towering trees adorned with lights can be seen glittering within the cities of Telon. Be on the look out for an abundance of gifts and goodies! Those who have been very nice this year may find their treats granting them an extra little something special!

| Happy Birthday, Vanguard!
 On January 30th, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is celebrating its one year anniversary! For those of you who have been traveling the world of Telon, you'll be in for a special treat!
All players will be able to choose one of three bags, representing each sphere of the game. Choose wisely, as you will only be able to claim a single bag per account.
Avarem's Messenger Bag
This is the bag of Avarem, famed messenger of Telon. His swift feet made him a legend in the realm of delivery. Equipping this bag will increase your run speed. Silius' Enchanted Utility Pouch
A bag used by the master crafter Silius. Said to be a sadist, Silius' insatiable hunger for crafting made him a legend in the world of Telon. Some even say this bag is made from the skin of crafters which is why it seems to enhance the base attributes of the person wearing it. Equipping this pouch will increase your crafting attributes. Jansan's Valise of Ages
This valise was used by the great diplomat known as Jansan. His accomplishments have been lost in the winds and nowadays are nothing more than fairy tales told to aspiring diplomats. Of these stories there is one about a valise that granted him great presence and held an endless amount of information. Equipping this valise will grant you 40 presence. 
We're also working on the first of many veteran rewards which will be making their way into the game soon. Players will be granted a special title in addition to other gifts that will be available to claim. These veteran rewards will remain in the game, so if you haven't quite reached a mark yet, you'll still be able to claim them when you do!
Cake will also be on hand so that everyone can help celebrate Vanguard's one year anniversary! We can't thank the players enough for making the world of Telon what it is today. Your dedication and contributions to the game and its community are invaluable. We look forward to many more years of fun and excitement! |

Beginning tomorrow, Adventurers and Crafters alike will receive 50% bonus experience! The bonus XP will kick in as soon as the servers come up from their weekly maintenance at approximately 7:00 AM PST and will remain in effect until next Tuesday's restart. Enjoy the xp bonus and have a wonderful weekend filled with family, friends, food and fun – both in and out of Telon! All Vanguard servers will be brought down Tuesday, November 20th at 5:00 AM PST for routine weekly maintenance. The downtime should not exceed two hours, with the servers up and ready for play by approximately 7:00 AM PST. |

DETAILS:
This is open registration for a Seradon serverwide event, on Saturday Sept 8th, at 5pm PST, hosted by the guild The Black Company. The event is to include pvp events based on level. It will be set up in tournament style, with double elimination. Prizes will be awarded for the winner of each category. So come one come all! Bring your friends, bring your enemies, kill them one and all!

Time: Saturday Sept. 8th: Final registration and assignment begins at 4pm, and the event begins at 5pm, pacific standard time (west coast = eastern –3hours)
Location: To Be Announced
Competitions:
Category 1:lv 15-19
Category 2: lv 20-24
Category 3: lv 25-29
Category 4: lv 30-34
Category 5: lv 35-39
Category 6: lv 40-44
Category 7: lv 45-49
Category 8: lv 50
You may enter any category in which your level is, as well as any higher category. IE. Lv20 ranger may enter category 2,3, and higher, but not category 1. You must pay registration for each category you choose to enter.
Prizes: Prizes will be distributed to each winner of the tournament category, for a total of 8 winners. All categories have a base prize of 10g plus all admission fees for that category.
Raffle: Each participant will be automatically entered into a raffle, one ticket per person, so everybody has equal opportunity to win! Raffle prize is new set of enchanted true silver horseshoes! Est. value, 20g. Use them, sell them, they’re yours!
Admission: The admission fee for this event is a nominal 1g for categories 1-2; 2g for categories 3-4, 3g for categories 5-6, 4g for categories 7-8. Direct all admission fee questions to Verrik in game.

Simply posting your character name, level, and desired category, and then mailing the registration fee to Verrik will reserve you a spot. Further instructions will be posted as necessary here, and also mailed as a receipt of received admission fees.
There will be sign ups the day of the event as well.
Rules of Engagement: All participants will be involved in double elimination tournament style competition. You will start on opposite sides of the ‘arena’, and once the duel commences, anything you do inside of the circle is fair game. Once you step outside of the dueling arena, you are disqualified. Fights are to the death.
Specifics will be outlined the day of the event, and for ease of communication there will be a specific chat channel for the event.
Goal: We are here to promote community, and have a great time in the process. We also wish to celebrate our true champions of battle, and elevate them with our praise. Let their names be remembered, and feared by their foes. The land will run red with the blood of the fallen!
