| The original EQ will be 8 years old on the 16th. To celebrate, the Fableds will be coming back, and include shiny new Luclin ones. So if you're looking for a break from Vanguard, now would be a good time to wreak havoc in EQ!

| EverQuest Expansion: The Serpent's Spine |

| Sony Online has announced a new expansion. It features a level cap increase to 75, a new player race - a mixture of humans and dragons, the Drakkin - and more AA's, spells, and content for all levels.

| Progression Servers Launched! |

| Another Progression Server |

| Due to demand, SOE has decided to open up another progression server along side The Combine. Its name is The Sleeper. A name reservation placeholder will be available in a few days. You can read the full article here.

| DirectX 9.0c will soon be required to run EverQuest. If you don't have it, you can download it from Microsoft. There is an executable that will download the next time you run EQ that you can run to see if you have the right version. Click the read more link to see the patch notes.
